Chalices restored to their former glory

Two of our parish Chalices have recently been refurbished thanks to donations from parishioners.

The Chalice on the left was presented to Fr James Butler, the first parish priest of Sacred Heart, in 1943.

The chalice on the right was presented to St Gerard’s in memory of Sadie Campbell by her friends and colleagues of Bellshill Maternity Hospital.

They will be used this weekend and next for the celebration of Mass.
