Advent Penitential Service

There will be an Advent Penitential Service on Wednesday 15th December at 7.00pm in St Gerard’s Church. As we remain in uncertain times with continued hesitancy the bishop has given permission for General absolution to be used on this occasion.

Having listened to the Word of God we will be invited to reflect and examine our consciences before the celebration of the Sacrament with general absolution.

Individual celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation continues to be available on a Tuesday evening in Sacred Heart Church and a Thursday morning in St Gerard’s Church.
