Everyone had a great time yesterday on our Parish Pilgrimage Trip to Oban. Over 60 parishioners left from Sacred Heart Church at 7.30am yesterday and headed to Oban where we celebrated Holy Mass in St Columba's Cathedral, were given a tour and short talk about the Cathedral, and then spent the day touring around Oban and enjoying the beautiful views.
Sadly the weather wasn't very kind with torrential rain, thunder and lighting at lunchtime but we didn't let it ruin our day and thankfully the sun did appear for a few hours.
Thanks to Alison Quinn and Matthew Ellis for organising, Father McGoldrick for celebrating Mass, Mgr James MacNeil, Administrator of the Cathedral, for our warm welcome and to Hamish who gave us a tour of the beautiful Cathedral.
